Lisa Catterson – Paper Necklace
The soft nature of Lisa’s work makes her necklaces and booches instantly appealing. She has recently graduated from The Glasgow School of Art and is fresh on the scene.
Her work is influenced by her obsession for repetition and layers found within nature. She focused her attention to the formation of mushrooms which is evident when you study the softness of her jewellery.
The organic shape and the layers of this necklace give the piece movement and a delicacy which isn’t always found in paper jewellery. Below are brooches from the same collection. Looking forward to see what Lisa produces next.
